Our Story
Marlys Badzin opened Pumpz & Company in 2000 as a response to Galleria customers asking for a place to find the latest shoe and handbag styles without flying to either coast. After almost twenty years of experience in leasing to retailers, she became one.
Pumpz is recognized as the place to score the best available pieces to accessorize your own signature style. With over one hundred years of combined experience, our staff will help you choose the perfect handbag or footwear to create a look that's classic or forward, but always in style.
Many of our items are designed specifically for us. We can also special order or track down your size when quantities are limited.

I joined Pumpz & Company in May 2008, bringing my experience as Trend Manager of women's apparel and accessories for Macy’s corporate office . I hold a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design & Merchandising from Iowa State University.
As Sales Manager at Pumpz & Co, I help share the stories and backgrounds of our products and designers with customers to help them enjoy their shopping experience and make informed choices for their wardrobes and lifestyles.
Being a part of a fast-paced, trend-right environment is a passion of mine and I love to interact with customers about how our products personally feel and look in any season, for any event, or for any mood.
