We had a GREAT time at Pumpz & Company with Carlos and Alex Falchi (his nephew) last week and learned quite a bit about Carlos and his history! In addition to custom designing bags for local clients, and explaining the process by which his iconic accessories are created, Carlos had a chance to reminisce with people he hadn't seen in more than THREE DECADES.
We felt like eavesdroppers when women unwrapped their precious Falchi creations that they had saved for decades, and watched the designer personalize each one with his signature in the lining.
Many were one of a kind pieces that brought back special memories for both the customer and the designer.
The python totes pictured above are in development even as you read this. We are taking special orders on small (red) medium (blue) and large (huge) sizes in a rainbow of colors. Totes should arrive by mid-May.
